Before we can rent space to a person who would like to sell through Minnesota Treasures, we must have our paperwork in order. The seller needs to have a valid sales tax permit, or a written statement that;
1, They are not a business.
2, They make less than $500 in a calendar year.
3, They participate in only one, event per calendar year that lasts no more than three days.
If we fail to collect this information, it would result in financial penalties to us for each vendor that we failed to get tax info on. We have simple forms to fill out and you can receive one from us at setup.
